On October the 29th as part of the 1st Green and Sustainable Real Estate Conference, organized by IM Events, Russia’s first prize for the ecological approach in development Green Perspective Awards 2009 was bestowed. 4 companies, including Espro Group, were pretending to the prize.

“We are very pleased to realize that on Russian market we are one of the first companies which think over the impact of its business on environment. Hereafter we will continue the implementation of fundamental principles of sustainability”, – said Ivan Potekhin, General Director of Espro Group.

“Espro Group” continues the implementation of the office and warehouse complex “Kulon-Yugros” in partnership with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB).

Within the framework of “Kulon-Yugros” project, Espro Group has attracted a long-term syndicated loan totaling 19.8 million euros. The loan agreement for financing the project was signed by ZAO “Kulon Yugros”, IFC and BSTDB.

On the 3^rd of October Espro Group together with Greenpeace arrange corporate program for protection and recovery of forestlands.

Purpose of the event is to help the “green” organization to collect seeds for further recreation of forestlands in such regions of Russia, as Ryazan, Tula, Lipetsk, Orel, Belgorod and other regions. We will collect acorns and seeds of maple and ash.

You can enjoy a stroll in the autumn park, deal informally with our colleagues and do a useful thing! Be sure to call children and friends! Outdoor games will be organized for the younger generation. How nice it will be to drink hot tea round the big friendly table after the event.

We are waiting for you on the 3^rd of October at 11.00 am at the entrance to the park “Dubky” (5 min walk from the metro station Timiryazevskaya). The event will last until 15.00.

Espro Group has completed construction work on the facade of a new class A business center “8^th of March Street,14″. At the present time accomplishment of adjoining territory and internal decoration work are also finished. Setting in operation is planned for mid-October 2009.

On the 17th of September a friendly football match between Espro Group and Kaluga Region Development Corporation took place in Kaluga.
The game was carried out in the pouring rain. In extreme conditions Espro team showed a high level of team play and won with a score of 4:2.
This kind of friendly matches is a good tradition of the company. Players of Espro Group expressed their appreciation to the team of Kaluga Region Development Corporation for very strain and interesting game.

On July 16, within the implementation of «A-park» construction project, the ceremony dedicated to the beginning of the construction of production and storage facilities for auto parts manufacturers took place.

The main “A-park” project implementers are “Kaluga Region Development Corporation” and Espro group.  The sites of 20 hectares total were reserved to implement this project. They plan to build 100 thousand square meters of production, storage and office facilities. The total investment volume will be 100 million Euro. The project deadline is 2012.

Moreover, “A-park” project is a unique project on the Russian territory. To this day, there is no production complexes built as parts of industrial parks in Russia. We think it will be good for Kaluga residents to know that more than a thousand jobs will be created in the mini-park.

June 19 at the hotel “Corinthia Nevsky Palace” gold bricks to the best companies on St. Petersburg commercial real estate market were awarded. CEO of “Espro Development” Vitaly Antonov also participated in the event.
The night before ”Espro” organized a bus tour through the evening Petersburg for journalists and business partners which included a visit to a warehouse complex” Kulon-Pulkovo”.

The round table was arranged in Moscow by Guild of Managers and Developers with support of GREENPEACE organization.

Espro’s representatives took an active part in discussion of the prospects for development of ecological construction in Russia. Workshop participants agreed that the use of eco-technologies from the planning stage to the commissioning of the object in addition to the conservation of natural resources increases the value of buildings and subsequently helps to reduce operating costs.

The main problems of eco-development in our country were identified. There are lack of support for the movement from the state and lack of knowledge of commercial real estate market from its participants. Therefore public education policy, including publishing information on corporate web sites, was suggested.

The second meeting in the discussion will be held in September 2009.

The World Trade Center will host the DIY & HouseHold Retail Business Forum to be held from the 28^th to the 29^th of May, 2009. Espro Group appears to be a sponsor of the event.
