The round table was arranged in Moscow by Guild of Managers and Developers with support of GREENPEACE organization.
Espro’s representatives took an active part in discussion of the prospects for development of ecological construction in Russia. Workshop participants agreed that the use of eco-technologies from the planning stage to the commissioning of the object in addition to the conservation of natural resources increases the value of buildings and subsequently helps to reduce operating costs.
The main problems of eco-development in our country were identified. There are lack of support for the movement from the state and lack of knowledge of commercial real estate market from its participants. Therefore public education policy, including publishing information on corporate web sites, was suggested.
The second meeting in the discussion will be held in September 2009.
